Bake in covered roaster at 325 degrees for 6 hours or 8-10 hours in a slow cooker (or do a combination of both). Then shred with fork. Serve on buns. Sometimes I serve this with mashed potatoes and gravy too.
(Freeze Leftovers in smaller containers and grab on a busy night)
Thoroughly mix first 7 ingredients and add ground beef. Pack into loaf pan. Combine 1/4c catsup, ¼ c brown sugar, 1 Tbsp. prepared mustard and spread over meat. Bake 1 hr. at 350 degrees.
Brown and drain the ground beef. Mix with the other ingredients and let simmer to mix flavors.
(Also a good one to freeze into smaller containers for another meal-or share with a neighbor!)
1 ½ to 2 lbs. beef (Rib steak or thinly sliced steak)
**Cut into strips. Dip into flour and place in the slow cooker. Add the rest the ingredients to the beef:
Bake on low for approximately 8 hours. Check consistency. Ok to turn crockpot on high if you need to and dissolve 1 ½ Tbsp cornstarch in a small amount of water and stir into crock pot. Cook until thickened and then stir in ½ cup sour cream. Serve over cooked wide noodles, rice or mashed potatoes.
1 ½ to 2 Lbs. beef (stew meat/ tenderized steak)
In Large Pot:
Put 1 lb. browned and drained ground beef
add:
**Cook slowly 1 ½ to 2 hours. Also very good when rewarmed. May be frozen for later use.
** In medium skillet, brown ground beef. Drain and set aside. In large skillet add chicken or beef stock, taco seasoning mix, cumin, salt, pepper, and ground beef. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer covered for 10 minutes. Add green onions, tomatoes, and black olives. Simmer another 10 minutes. Ladle into bowls; top with chips, lettuce, and cheese.
***Add (bacon, toasted nuts, olives) whatever else you like! Serve with Vinaigrette
**Pound flour into steak. Brown meat in hot oil. Mix all ingredients, except onions. Pour mixture over meat. Place sliced onions on top. Cover. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 ½ hours.
Place Roast in a large oven pan or slow cooker.
Put cut, bite- size pieces of potatoes, carrots, onion and other favorites around the roast.
Pour a can of coke over the whole things and season with salt and pepper.
Cook for a few hours in the oven or all day in a slow cooker.
